Structure of the hen house
The new generation mobile hen house – with this principle the mobile hen houses were developed for modern and future-oriented agriculture. Our goal is to design a labor-saving, animal-friendly and practical mobile hen house system for economic and sustainable agriculture.
The mobile hen houses of the fm series
Structure of the hen house of the fm series
The central section
The central section of our „fm-series“ is the heart of the mobile hen house. The central part contains all the technology that is used in the hen house. In the front area is the technical room, where the feed silo, the water tank with a waterworks as well as the feed drives and the hen house computer that controls all technical systems. In the central area of the middle section is the aviary, which extends over two floors.
This is equipped with perches, family tilting floor nests, droppings and egg belts, as well as the feed and water lines. At the rear of the center section are the doorways for manure belt removal.

The lateral sections
In order to ensure the mobility of the mobile chicken coop, scratching chambers are attached to the middle section on both sides, which have a fixed floor and virtually float along with the middle section. These can be easily and safely transported with a forklift pick-up.
The side parts contain the covers of the nests as well as the access doors to the inside of the house. In the side parts are the scratching surfaces of the animals. Furthermore, the side parts are equipped with plug-in connections so that they can be easily hooked in and out in no time.
For moving to a more distant area, the side parts can be unhooked after separation in order to transport the middle part and the side parts to the new area.
Modular construction
The mobile hen houses of the fm series are built according to the principle of modularity. This means that each coop system – regardless of size – contains the same technology and equipment, and offers the same range of functions. The mobile hen house consists of a central part and – depending on the size – two to four side parts per barn side.
The central section is permanently mounted on a chassis. Attached to both sides are scratching areas, which have a fixed floor and virtually float on the cental section.
Self-sufficient operation
The mobile hen houses of the fm-series are designed for self-sufficient operation due to their construction and equipment. The feed and water supply for the chickens is provided by storage tanks in the vehicle. All electric drives in the mobile hen house run on 24V.
The required energy for the automations is supplied by batteries in the vehicle, which can be charged with 230V or optionally by a photovoltaic system. This enables emission-free and sustainable hen house operation.
Labor saving operation
The mobile hen houses are operated fully automatically via a state-of-the-art house computer. The house computer controls the lighting, the automatic opening and closing of the outlet flaps and tilting floor nests as well as the operation of the ventilation and feeding technology in the mobile house in a time and/or temperature-controlled manner. In the event of a malfunction, the hen house computer automatically sends a message to your telephone.
Optionally, the mobile hen house can also be monitored and controlled using Wi-Fi. Due to the labor-saving operation, the farmer gains more time for his/ her animals and can take care of the animal welfare.
Flexible use
Each mobile hen house is designed as a vehicle with a fixed chassis. In addition, each mobile house of the “fm-series” is equipped with several support stands that can be controlled hydraulically and individually, so that slopes can also be compensated.
This allows the mobile hen houses to be easily relocated and flexibly aligned, making optimum use of the existing pasture areas and avoiding excessive nutrient input into the soil.
Welfare-oriented animal husbandry
The mobile hen houses of the fm series offer newcomers as well as experienced poultry farmers completely new possibilities of welfare-oriented and future-oriented animal husbandry. Our mobile hen houses for keeping layers have several advantages over conventional fixed hen houses with free-range housing. In a farmermobil®, the layers live on two levels, where they are provided with feed and water.
For resting, the layers have many well-distributed perches where they can enjoy the daylight that enters the house through the large windows. To ensure that the air in the house is pleasant at all times, the mobile house is automatically ventilated several times a day.
For pecking and scratching, the chickens have access to large and protected scratching areas in the side parts, in addition to a daily fresh meadow. From there, the hens can access the green meadow during the day, where they can let off steam. In the evening, the chickens go back to the mobile hen house, where they can spend the night safely and comfortably. The layers thank you for their good life, almost daily with a fresh egg.

The mobile hen houses of the STARTER series
Structure of the hen house of the STARTER-series
The STARTER series includes road-ready mobile hen houses designed as trailers. Each mobile hen house from farmermobil is identically equipped – regardless of the system size. A STARTER mobile hen house offers you the same technical possibilities as a hen house of the fm series.
From automation via a hen house computer, self-sufficient operation via storage tanks and a photovoltaic system, to electric manure removal from the manure belts.
The mobile hen house of the STARTER series are ready-delivered complete systems that provide farmers with the perfect entry into animal-friendly and economical poultry husbandry.

Flexible use
Each mobile hen house of the STARTER series is designed as a trailer, with a fixed chassis. In addition, the STARTER mobile houses are approved for traffic on public roads, which means that even more distant areas can be reached and managed.
Due to the low total weight and the suitable pasture tires, the mobile houses can be easily moved and thus flexibly used, which means that the existing pasture areas can be optimally used and excessive nutrient input into the soil can be avoided.

The mobile hen houses are operated fully automatically via a state-of-the-art hen house computer. The hen house computer controls the lighting, the automatic opening and closing of the outlet flaps and tilting floor nests as well as the operation of the ventilation and feeding technology in the mobile house in a time and/or temperature-controlled manner.
In the event of a malfunction, the stable computer automatically sends a message to your telephone. Optionally, the mobile hen house can also be monitored and controlled using Wi-Fi. Due to the labor-saving operation, the farmer gains more time for his/ her animals and can take care of the animal welfare.

Delivered ready and immediately operational
The mobile hen houses of the STARTER series are delivered completely finished and are therefore immediately ready for use.
The layers can move into their new home shortly after delivery. This saves you a long and cost-intensive construction time. In addition, you will receive detailed and individual instruction so that you can get started without any unanswered questions and with much anticipation.
